Bradley Kragel was born in Onawa, Iowa. In December 1985, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science from the University of Iowa. In 1989, he obtained a law degree from the University of Iowa School of Law.
In 1989, Brad went to work as an associate at Greve, Clifford, Diepenbrock & Paras . In 1999, he became a partner in the firm of Greve, Clifford, Wengel & Paras. He is licensed to practice before all of the California State courts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, Central and Southern Districts in California.
Brad has litigated hundreds of case, primarily defending individuals and businesses in civil disputes. He has experience litigating claims involving insurance coverage, construction defects, professional liability, business disputes, breach of contract, and personal injury.
Insurance coverage: provide analyses and opinions regarding interpretation of insurance policies and statutes relating to insurance, including commercial general liability insurance, automobile insurance, homeowners insurance, and professional liability insurance.
Insurance litigation: defense and prosecution of claims involving breach of insurance policies, breach of the duty of good faith and fair dealing, bad faith, failure to provide coverage, failure to defend, first party coverage claims, and third party coverage claims.
Professional liability: defense of architects, engineers, attorneys, real estate agents or brokers, and insurance agents or brokers, against claims for breach of contract, professional malpractice, and professional negligence.
Construction litigation: defense and prosecution of claims involving contractors, subcontractors, and homeowners regarding construction defects, failure to disclose and breach of contract.
Personal injury & property damage: defense and prosecution of claims for personal injury and property damage arising out of accidents involving motor vehicles, construction machinery, tractor-trailers, dwellings and businesses.
Business litigation: defense and prosecution of actions involving breach of contract; unfair business practices; interference with contract; nuisance; corporate and partnership disputes.
